2026 Conference Scholarship Opportunity

The Ohio Chapter of the Association of Public Safety Communications Officials  (APCO) and the Ohio Chapter of National Emergency Number Association (NENA) are proud to announce the Chapters will be awarding scholarships to attend the 2026 Ohio APCO/NENA Joint State Conference, September 13-16, 2026, at The Ohioan Hotel and Event Center located in Lewis Center, Ohio.

Listed below is information on the scholarships being awarded by the associations:

1. Five scholarships for members which will pay for registration only for the conference.

2. Five scholarships for non-members which will pay for registration only for the conference.

3. One Super Scholarship from each organization which will pay for registration and hotel. 

4. The Gold Star Luncheon is excluded from the awarded scholarships.

Scholarship requirements:

1. A couple paragraphs as to why you feel you are deserving of the scholarship.

2. Most significant event you have handled in your current position.

3. Full APCO or NENA Member.

4. Member(s) must be in good standing with the organization.

5. The applicant shall have the backing of their agency to attend the conference.

6. The deadline for applications is July 15, 2026.

7. The winner cannot allow someone else to replace them at conference if they are unable to attend.

8. Scholarship winners will be announced the week of July 20, 2026.
